To Love With No Partiality

Luke 4:21-30



They were furious when they heard it. They were furious upon hearing that the Lord, God the Father, has shown favor not to them, his people, but to others whom they considered to be unworthy. Jesus gave two examples from the past, and for this, they were about to "throw Him down the cliff."


Shall we also react this way? Who could react this way but those who are too proud of themselves. They cannot accept that God can be so gracious as to bless sinners too. They ask, "why not me? Am I not more worthy?"


But God is gracious, He loves everyone and is ready to accept even the most hardened sinner who calls on Him and returns to the fold. This is an example of how we must live--- to love with no partiality, everyone indeed, not only those who will love you back.
